• Assist with project initiatives including cost management, performance efficiency, process development, and other process driven initiatives.
• Performs analysis on the effectiveness of exiting business processes and assists in developing sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
• Collects and analyzes process data and pain points from process owners to assist with initiation, development, and recommendation of business practices and procedures and implementing process improvement changes that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and efficiency.
• Works with the IT department(s) to determine how new technologies can support business process reengineering.
• Responsible for driving improvement with the cooperation of all departments who are impacted by the proposed changes.
• Develop training and knowledge transfer programs, documents, and associated materials (e.g. webinars, SOP’s) in support of onboarding activities and upskilling for performance improvement.
• Document the performance improvement changes with a major focus on digital automation, creating business requirements and desk level procedures, as needed.
• Build and maintain documentation repository for information sharing and training.
• Helps research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.
• Provide hands-on support at all levels to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives.
Other Duties
• Provide general support to the PITT OHIO Supply Chain team to business, customer, and vendor needs.
• Provide additional support with SCS Administrative team with regards to maintaining reports and data integrity.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of company, customer, and vendor information

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, etc.). Ability to understand basic database functions
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI or another Business Intelligence software to create metric visualization.
• Must be able to efficiently and effectively analyze data and draw rational conclusions
• Must possess above-average time management and organizational skills
• Must be able to collaborate effectively among peers and work as part of a team
• Must be highly motivated and flexible
• Must possess an ability to understand business processes
• Experience using SQL is preferred.
• Bachelors degree preferred with focus in STEM.
• Must demonstrate competent data and process analytical skills
• High accuracy and attention to detail required
• Ability to train new and existing personnel
• Must contribute to a positive team atmosphere through collaboration with other Performance Improvement Specialists and others impacted by the proposed changes.
Working Conditions
• Fast-paced working environment
• Primarily sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. May be occasionally required to exert up to 15 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Walking and standing are only required occasionally.
• The general office environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Environment includes co-workers talking on the phone within close proximity.
• Subject to inside environmental conditions and protected for weather conditions and extreme temperature change.
• Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor.
• Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
